Account information. When you register via email or Google Sign-In, we collect basic information necessary to set up your account, including your name, email address, and profile picture.

For parents: If you are registering to manage lessons for your child, we also collect your child’s name to associate sessions correctly.

Educational data. To provide effective tutoring, we store data related to your sessions, including:

• Booking history and upcoming schedule
• Messages and files shared between you and the tutor via our platform
• Internal progress notes taken by the tutor

We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate this platform. We share data with them only as necessary to perform these functions:

• Video conferencing: To generate Zoom meeting links for online sessions.
• Hosting & storage: To securely host our website, database, and file storage.
• Payment processing: To securely charge a card on file after completed lessons, where you choose that option.
• Email delivery: To send booking confirmations, reminders, and message notifications.

We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

• If you pay via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal, the payment is handled entirely by that external platform.
• If you keep a card on file, it is stored and charged securely by our third-party payment processor after each completed lesson.
• Within your account dashboard we record only the payment status (for example, “Paid”) and the lesson it relates to, for tracking purposes.

We implement security measures to protect your personal information.

• Access: Your data is accessible only to you, the tutor, and (if applicable) the parent account managing your profile.
• Messages: Chat history is private between the student/parent and the tutor.

You may update your account information at any time in your settings. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us through the platform and we will process the request.
